About Jackie McMaster
I'm Jackie McMaster, a Jewellery Silversmith and designer with over 20 years of experience crafting metal. I blend traditional methods with fresh, innovative approaches.
My work is influenced by the techniques of metal smithing, my art studies and the natural world. I'm driven by curiosity and a passion for learning, always eager to experiment with new methods.
My collections vary from classic designs to organic experiments led by the materials and new technology such as computer-aided design.
When I take on commissions or create new pieces, I will often combine different techniques to craft unique, one-of-a-kind creations.
All the metals used in my work are recycled and sourced from reputable UK suppliers.

North Down Craft Collective
The North Down Craft Collective (NDCC) is a community focused organisation dedicated to supporting local artist and makers and celebrating handmade craftsmanship. Established in 2013, the group initially hosted monthly craft fairs in Holywood, County Down. Since then, it has gone on to support makers through retail selling opportunities, craft workshops. exhibitions and pop-up fairs.
In 2025, North Down Craft Collective became a community interest company (CIC) with the aim of bringing the skills and experience of its members to the community of North Down and the surrounding area. Through a vibrant programme of craft workshops, markets and events, the group brings makers and the community together, fostering creativity and keeping traditional skills alive.
Jackie joined the group in 2023 and is now a director of the CIC working with the rest of the team to bring quality crafting events to Northern Ireland.
